For more than two decades of my life, I was happily emersed in the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola, particularly in his "Spiritual Exercises." As a teacher, a retreat leader, and a spiritual director, I saw countless people find new intimacy with Christ by stepping into Scripture on the stage of their imaginations. In an article in Christianity Today, Gregory Boyd, pastor and author, says that the imagination is the main place we encounter God. He notes that imaginative prayer is rooted in Biblical tradition. I'm honored to share more about the Spiritual Exercises with you. If you're ready to be with Christ through Scriptural stories, please click here.
